Abstract
As climate change is one of society´s most pressing issues, it spares no one. Therefore, the sport industry must act on it as well. Since sport events are a major driver of pollution within this industry, this study uses a case study approach to investigate aspects that are relevant to consider in order to achieve climate neutrality for reoccurring sport events in the future. Besides that, it puts emphasis on the importance and power of education.
