Abstract
This internship was provided by the municipality of Leeuwarden and falls under the sector “Sustainable Environmental Quality” within the Physical domain. My external supervisor – Thor Ruiter – is also situated in this sector. Within the BSc programme I am currently in my third and final year of the programme. I am following this internship from within the third and final year of the BSc Global Responsibly and leadership. Firstly, this report will describe the municipality of Leeuwarden and its organisational structure. Secondly, the report will discuss the internship in terms of learning outcomes and results. Eventually this report closes off with an evaluation considering learning outcomes, contribution to the internship provider, attribution of the study programme and future career options.
