Abstract
This report details my internship as a data scientist at DataGrow in Utrecht, Netherlands, from September to December 2025. DataGrow, a business intelligence firm serving SMEs and governments with AI/ML and cloud solutions, sought deeper insights into Pipedrive CRM sales pipelines and employee engagement trends, which were restricted by limited native reporting and manual tracking. I tackled this by developing full data pipelines, from Pipedrive API extraction via Databricks to PowerBI dashboards, including a comprehensive 9-page sales analytics tool with ML models (Random Forest classifier, and Isolation Forest anomaly detection) for deal predictions, conversions, and deal tracking alongside an automated 2.0 dashboard for activity KPIs from Google Forms. This hands-on work honed my skills in data engineering, imbalanced ML handling, visualization, and stakeholder collaboration, revealing how data science fuels real-world business growth.
