Abstract

This study examines how individual Critical to Quality (CTQ) measurements affect the final product quality in an automated production line. A real-world dataset was used to build a machine learning pipeline using Pycaret for model selection and SHAP for interpretability. The data required filtering, normalization, and synthetic sampling to align CTQ values with final quality checks. The model identified key CTQs as strong predictors for quality outcomes. The results provide useful insights for engineers and offer a practical and reuseable approach for process optimization in manufacturing.
